Northwest Passage High School
Special Education Teacher
I have worked with youth for 35+ years in a variety of settings. I graduated from UW-LaCrosse with a degree in Recreational Therapy and worked in adolescent day treatment centers and eventually found my way into education in 1993. I have worked at Northwest Passage High School since fall 1999. In 2008 I earned my master’s degree from Bethel University in Special Education. I appreciate NWPHS willingness to always be innovative in their approach to education. I love what I do and I am very passionate about working with youth and providing them a valuable and unique learning experience. I really enjoy being apart of the Headwaters program and being very intentional about how we teach students to be successful at project based learning.  Being apart of the dynamic and innovative Headwaters team has been a highlight of my teaching career.
