I am a life science teacher at Sun Prairie High School. I teach Genetics, Anatomy and Physiology 1 & 2 and Ecology (in some years). I have a passion for science and using science to look critically at the world to find injustices and inequities that exist. I aim to equip my students to identify areas of need and act to change the world.  The other role I play in my district is as a member of our Equity Team. We create equity and anti-racist based professional development for our staff and collaborate with teachers/teams to update and create curriculum and teacher practices.
