I am one of three founders of the Wildlands Science Research School. The middle school program is where I spent my time and developed a project-based middle school program that worked great for our students. Caring about students first, being flexible second and implementing curriculum third was key for me to being successful in a small charter school.
This is my first year of being retired. I never imagined how much that I would miss the students and camaraderie that comes along with being a teacher! I am always willing to speak with people about what worked for me with the students and have years of themes/projects that would be easy to share.
