Sustainable Cities as Equitable Cities empowers youth voice in design of their communities. Introducing civic leadership through role play, 6th grade girls, mentored by practitioners, collaborate on building green cities. Taking on mayoral, commercial housing, health and recreation, transportation, education, and energy leadership roles, girls collaborate and construct. With more of the world moving toward cities, education that offers such opportunities at an early age activates engaged and informed citizens.
