Students who are involved in the decision making processes of the school will strengthen their ownership. Agency is created which allows us to step naturally into leadership positions. At Valley New School, we designed the infrastructure of student government, mentorship, and ambassadorship. The more students step into these roles, the more say we have, creating buy-in and engagement in our education, best preparing us for our careers.
