Cultivating a welcoming, diverse and inclusive school community is the essential role of every educator. This presentation introduces the role that belonging and relationships have to create a positive community and build successful learners. Participants will explore two Responsive Classroom practices to teach the skills of sharing, listening, and understanding and walk away with a resource to support the direct teaching and practice of these vital communication skills, regardless of the model of service delivery.
