Every charter school contract is different, however, at the root of every contract is the exchange of autonomy for accountability. This workshop is designed for charter school leaders who are responsible for building a charter school budget within the confines of a school district. The charter contract language is the place where financial decisions around what services will be purchased and which ones will be up to the charter governance board should be clearly articulated. Come learn how we can create systems and practices to make charter school finance transparent to both the authorizer and governance board so charter leaders are set up for success.
