Barry Golden
Badger Rock Middle School
Barry has had a presence in Wisconsin K-12 education for over 35 years. His experience includes teaching, serving as an administrator of special education, and Director of Instruction over a 20 year period, and working with the ISN as an Educational Paradigm Specialist. He started his own K-12 educational technology company and had a significant impact on the evolution of networked technology use from 1989-2003. He has stated “the first 30 years was the training ground” for his many years as a charter school consultant for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. His passion is helping create new and innovative schools. He has always been focused, not on school reform, but school transformation, one school at a time.
